The winter months can be cold and brutal especially in places such as Pittsburgh. We wanted to pay particular attention to the needs of community members when being faced with seasonal changes. For this reason, we gathered donations to provide for the Fineview and Perryhilltop community.
On December 16th, 2021, the Fineview and Perryhilltop Citizens Council provided children and their families with winter gear including hats, gloves, scarves, and earmuffs through the Community ambassador program. The citizens council also spoke with residents living on Belleau and Letsche street to discuss change
s they would like to see within their community.
We greatly appreciate the help from the Community ambassador program and look forward to working with them in the future. We would not be able to provide the community with essential clothing without help from the Community ambassador program and donations.
